I am very pleased to have the opportunity to exhibit at Georgian College in Barrie this fall.
“LANDMADE” will be an exhibit of monoprints and mixed media panels, my endeavor into searching out Canadian imagery laid bare. Canadian imagery is an expression of the experience of where we live. We each do this in our own multi-layered way. “Visualizing the experience” for me required exploring new ways of working which lead to two series of monoprints: “Boreal Scratch Monoprints” followed by “Landmade Monoprints”. They became the genesis for the unique mixed media panels you will see here. The monoprints were done over a four years however the exhibit as a whole really illustrates the results of a decade of working process in print and unique works. Having all this work together will be a very impressionable experience for me and I trust for those who visit.
